Bed In A Bag

For Christmas I got a set and it was $99.00.
In the plastic it looks nice. (Picture)
But I opened it and felt the comforter. (in the bag still it felt nasty. Not one bit soft.)

If you ever have ever bought one will it get softer once out of the bag and air gets to it?

Should I take it out and run it n the dryer to fluff it?

Or should I try to take it back without the reciept and exchange for something softer?

I have not taken it out of the clear bag it comes in.
I just placed my hand in to get it out and yuk.
And it was a gift so no reciept.

Would the fairtex bag work for kicks and punching,also is it good quality and not get tears in it?What is the best bag for kicking and punching,Is there a banana bag that weighs 200 pounds or close to it,and are they good quality?One more thing,does it matter how heavy of punching bag you get,will a heavier one help you more?
